Tokomaru School Trail Bike Ride 2012

What a great day had by all at our annual Trail Bike Ride. A huge thanks to all the farmers for the use of their land and all the parents on the Home and School.

Tokomaru School House Captains

It was a pleasure to listen to the speeches delivered by the students running for House Captains on Friday. I really enjoyed the way that all of them spoke about the privilege it would be for them to be a House Captain and that they would be there to "cheer you on".

A big congratulations to all those who took the time and put so much effort into their speech, and to those that are now House Captain/Vice Captain for their house:

Our trip to Te Manawa

Water

Room 2 is getting very excited about our trip to Te Manawa to learn about the water cycle. Today we brainstormed all we knew about water and had a look through our class books on water.

Treasure Hunt

We are going on Tresure Hunt! During the week we looked at the letter 't' so today we went on a Treasure Hunt around the school. We were very good at finding the clues and reading them out.
