Measurement

We have been looking at Measurement for maths over the past week. Today the children used their gingerbread men to compare different sizes of objects around the classroom.

Speeches

Today Room 2 started looking at our speech topic.

Together we came up with some interesting ideas to write about. Have a talk with your child about the speech topic they have chosen.

Class Picnic

Today the children got to have a picnic on the deck as a reward for good behaviour in the classroom!

Bread Recipe

Yeast v No Yeast

Today we did an experiment with bread. We made 2 different kinds of bread, one with yeast and one without yeast.
We found that the bread with the yeast rose better and was tastier. It even looked nicer although didn't hold its shape as well when we had a turn at making our own shapes.
