Swimming Sports!

Today the children of Tokomaru School enjoyed a fun afternoon of Swimming sports. We did free style, backstroke, flutter boards, noodles, star fish and to finish, racing each other in the House Relay.
Kowhai came in 1st on 645
Tawa was 2nd on 605
And Rata was 3rd on 460

Number Relay

We were doing races in teams.We put the numbers so that they were in right order.

Number Fans

Today the children made their own number fan.

These have been sent with the children to practise making numbers. Numbers before and after and skip counting in 2's.

Tomorrow we are having a red and black day as a mark of respect for all the people in Christchurch.
