Making Pizza

As an end to our unit on Fractions Room 2 made some pizzas with Room 1. We then had to cut them into 6 so everyone had a piece. Each person got 1/6 of their group's pizza.

Wow More Snow!!

Well we thought we were getting all the snow we were going to get yesterday and then we came to school this morning and Tokomaru is covered!!
Room 2 had a great time in the snow with Room 1, building snowmen and having fun!!

Snow!!!

Wow how exciting this morning to wake up to snow!! Take a look at what we could see at school. The sun has come out this morning so it is all melting away :(

Fractions- Halves and Quarters

As a maths topic for the beginning of this term Room 2 has been looking at Fractions.
Take a look at the objects that we can half and quarter.

Here we all have a go at folding a piece of paper in half and then quarters.
