Milk for Schools

Today Tokomaru School got our first day of  Fonterra Milk for Schools. Thanks to our milk monitors Lauren, Tara, Angel and Lukaz for bringing us our milk and showing us how to fold the cartons.

The Pond

Today Room 2 were invited to Tokomaru Preschool to see the performance 'The Pond' by the Little Dog Barking drama company from Wellington.
The Pond is a magical journey through the eyes of the creatures and plants that live in and around the pond and whose daily lives depend on the importance of water for survival. The play begins with rain, rain that makes the puddles, the rivers and the ponds.

L&P Chocolate review

In Room 2 we have been looking at how to be food critics and write reviews about food.
Last week we looked at the new chocolate from Whittakers. White chocolate mixed with L&P.
Here is what we thought!

Making Butter

Yesterday the Greedy Cats read the story "Here is the Butter" so Harrison and I decided today we would make butter. All you need is cream, a jar, a marble and lots of muscle power to shake it up!
Have a go at home! After we made some fairy bread :) Yum!!

What a great night had by all!! Fantastic costumes,lots of great music and dancing!!

Marae Visit

Today we visited Te Rangimarie marae, Rangiotū. We all had a great learning experience and lots of fun!!
