Kandinsky's Circles

"I love circles today in the same way that previously I loved, e.g., horses, perhaps even more."

—Wassily Kandinsky, 1927

Wassily Kandinsky is considered to be one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He is the first artist to create a painting based on non-representational elements of shape and color. In essence, abstract painting began with him.

Take a look at our  whole classes versions of Kandinsky's Circles.

Rosie the Cow Show

Today we had a visit from Rosie the Cow!! What a action packed show with lots of audience interaction. Room 2 said it was FARMtastic!
We learnt that cows eat grass, they have 4 stomachs, the farmer milks them twice a day, the milk goes into the vat and then goes to the milk factory and then we get to have ice cream!!
